Description:
...The Flood Warning continues for the following river in Indiana...
East Fork White River at Shoals, near Bedford, near Rivervale, at
Williams, and at Seymour.
.Minor to moderate flooding continues on the East Fork White River.
The level is expected to continue to rise at Seymour tonight to 16.2
feet near daybreak then fall. The river level at all other
locations is on the fall.
The next accumulating precipitation is forecast to start Sunday
afternoon and night.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...East Fork White River at Williams.
* WHEN...Until Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 13.2 feet, Water begins to overflow the road to the
new Williams Bridge. SR 450 closes in several locations. Most
local roads in the flood plain are impassable at this level.
Huron-Williams Road flooded south of Port Williams Road.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 12.8 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:00 AM EDT Thursday was 12.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Wednesday morning and continue falling and remain below flood
stage.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.

Instruction:
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths
occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges,
dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream,
even a small one, on foot. To escape rising water find another route
over higher ground.
