...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
Patoka River near Princeton.
.Recent heavy rainfall is causing the Patoka River to rise, and it
will crest near Princeton at 18.8 feet early Saturday morning.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Patoka River near Princeton.
* WHEN...Until Tuesday evening.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 18.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.8
feet early Saturday morning. It will then fall below flood
stage early Tuesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
