Indiana...
Patoka River near Princeton.
.Recent heavy rain has resulted in rising water levels on the Patoka
River at Princeton. The river is forecast to rise above flood stage
Tuesday afternoon, to a crest in minor flood Friday morning.
For the Patoka River...including Princeton...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Patoka River near Princeton.
* WHEN...From Tuesday evening to Wednesday, March 18.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 16.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow evening to a crest of 19.0 feet early Friday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday, March
18.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
