...The Flood Warning is extended for the following river in
Indiana...
White River at Edwardsport.
...The Flood Warning continues for the following river in Indiana...
White River at Elliston, Hazleton, Petersburg, and Newberry.
.Minor to moderate flooding continues on the main rivers south of
Interstate 70 in central and southern Indiana as a result of 3 to 5
plus inches of rain falling during the past week. Upcoming rainfall
Tuesday and Wednesday could extend the length of flooding.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...White River at Newberry.
* WHEN...Until Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Extensive agricultural flooding is in
progress. Some state and county roads flood. County Road 600 W
just north of river flooded by possibly more than two feet of
water for a considerable distance in Mary Long Cutoff Area.
County Roads 900 W and 750 S begin to flood in Greene County.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 PM EST Saturday the stage was 19.3 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:30 PM EST Saturday was 19.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.5
feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
Wednesday evening.
- Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
