Root River Canal At Raymond affecting Racine County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Fox River Lower near New Munster. * WHEN...From this evening to Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Water is up to the first floor levels of some homes in the Town of Wheatland and Village of Salem Lakes area along Riverside Drive and Shorewood Drive. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 11.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM CDT Friday was 11.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.9 feet Sunday morning.
