Ohio River at Mount Vernon
Ohio River at J.T. Myers Dam
Ohio River at Shawneetown
.The Ohio River will continue to fall to below flood stage at all
sites through this weekend.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Ohio River at Shawneetown.
* WHEN...Until late Sunday evening.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 36.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 33.0 feet.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
