Fox River at Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater affecting McHenry, Lake IL and Kane Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Fox River from Johnsburg downstream to Red Gate Road in St. Charles, including the Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater gauge. * WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon to Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...At 9.5 feet, Fox River Drive threatened in East Dundee. Boathouses threatened along the river in Cary. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 9.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Tuesday afternoon to a crest of 9.7 feet Wednesday evening.
