Little Wabash River at Carmi. .Recent heavy rainfall is causing the Little Wabash River to rise, with an expected crest at Carmi just below 28 feet on Friday. It will then hold fairly steady through Sunday. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Wabash River at Carmi. * WHEN...Until Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, The inundation of county roads begins. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 26.8 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage tonight to 27.8 feet Friday morning, then hold fairly steady through early Sunday afternoon.
