* WHERE...Housatonic River at Falls Village.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to Saturday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, The water reaches Riverside Road at Kent
School and floods the picnic area along Route 7 near Housatonic
Meadows.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:15 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 6.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this afternoon to a crest of 7.7 feet tomorrow morning.
It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
