White River at Spencer and Petersburg. .Total rainfall amounts of 3 to over 5 inches of rain across much of central and southern Indiana is bringing widespread flooding. Additional rainfall over the weekend and next week could lengthen the amount of time the river remains in flood. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Elliston. * WHEN...Until Thursday, March 12. * IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Shawnee Airfield floods as flood waters begin to get into the hangar. Relocation of livestock may be necessary. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM EST Thursday the stage was 21.4 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 AM EST Thursday was 21.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.3 feet early Saturday morning.
