East Fork White River near Bedford. ...Forecast flooding changed from Moderate to Major severity for the following rivers in Indiana... East Fork White River at Seymour. .Total rainfall amounts of 3 to over 5 inches of rain across much of central and southern Indiana will bring major flooding to the East Fork White at Seymour and moderate flooding to most of the rest of the East Fork White River basin. Additional rainfall over the weekend and next week could lengthen the amount of time the river remains in flood. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...East Fork White River near Bedford. * WHEN...From Friday evening to Sunday, March 15. * IMPACTS...At 28.5 feet, Estimated level at when roads along Salt Creek and Little Salt Creek in the Bedford area began to flood during March 2008 because of local runoff and backwater from the East Fork White River. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM EST Thursday the stage was 15.2 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 17.8 feet this evening. It will then fall to 16.7 feet just after midnight tonight. It will rise above flood stage late tomorrow evening to 28.4 feet Monday morning.
