* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...The following counties, in east central Indiana, Fayette and Union. In southeast Indiana, Franklin. * WHEN...Until 200 PM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 739 AM EST, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Brookville, West College Corner, Oldenburg, Lake Santee, Blooming Grove, Columbia, Metamora, Laurel, Everton, Alpine, Peppertown, Nulltown, Mounds State Recreation Area, Buena Vista, Hamburg, Andersonville, Billingsville, Charlottesville and Mixersville.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Keep children away from storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
