Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...
Muscatatuck River at Vernon.
.Additional rainfall over the last day of one to two inches on top
of already saturated ground from 2 to 4 inches of rainfall the
previous day has prompted the development of minor flooding on the
Muscatatuck River at Vernon. Additional rainfall this morning could
lengthen the time in the flood.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Muscatatuck River at Vernon.
* WHEN...From this morning to late this evening.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:30 AM EST Thursday the stage was 18.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 6:30 AM EST Thursday was 18.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late this morning and continue falling and remain below flood
stage.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
