* Until 1100 PM EDT.
* At 755 PM EDT, local fire chief reported thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Cleveland, Willowick, Euclid, Mentor, Cleveland Heights,
Willoughby, Eastlake, Chesterland, South Euclid, Mayfield Heights,
East Cleveland, Lyndhurst, Wickliffe, Richmond Heights, Willoughby
Hills, Highland Heights, Kirtland, Mayfield, Gates Mills and
Bratenahl.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
