Oneida County in central New York... * Until 100 AM EDT. * At 902 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Heavy rain had already impacted the area earlier today and additional heavy rain tonight could drop another 1 to 2 inches. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Utica, Rome, Oneida, Camden, Boonville, Lee, Verona, Westmoreland, Vienna, Trenton, Floyd, New York Mills, Yorkville, Forestport, Oriskany, Steuben, Sylvan Beach, Remsen, Holland Patent and Delta Lake.
