Description: 
At 141 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding across the warned area. Numerous roads are closed in Bates and Henry counties, with additional flooding reported in southeast Cass and southwest Johnson counties. Between 3 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. Travel is not recommended in the warning area overnight. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding from thunderstorms. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Butler, Adrian, Garden City, Rich Hill, Urich, Montrose, Creighton, Chilhowee, Rockville, Foster, Blairstown, Passaic, Ballard, Hartwell, Quick City, La Due, La Tour and Post Oak.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
