The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for...
The island of Oahu in Honolulu County
* Until 400 AM HST.
* At 1227 AM HST, radar indicated rainfall had diminished over Oahu,
with rain now falling at a rate of half an inch per hour.
Emergency Management reports ongoing flooding issues across the
island however, and additional rainfall is developing and expected
to move into the island during the next hour or so. Flash flooding
is expected to continue.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

IMPACT...Flooding in drainages, streams, rivers, roads,
properties, and other low-lying areas. Public road
closures possible in some areas. Landslides are
possible in steep terrain.

Instruction:
Stay away from streams, rivers, drainage ditches, and culverts, even
if they are currently dry.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of drainage
ditches and streams, streets, highways, properties, and other low
lying spots.
