The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for...
The island of Oahu in Honolulu County
* Until 1230 AM HST.
* At 900 PM HST, radar indicated heavy rainfall over Oahu. Rain was
falling at a rate of around 2 inches per hour over already
saturated ground. Additionally, Emergency Management reports
ongoing flooding issues across the island. Flash flooding is
expected to continue.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.
SOURCE...Emergency management.
IMPACT...Flooding in drainages, streams, rivers, roads,
properties, and other low-lying areas. Public road
closures possible in some areas. Landslides are
possible in steep terrain.

Instruction:
Stay away from streams, rivers, drainage ditches, and culverts, even
if they are currently dry.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of drainage
