The island of Oahu in Honolulu County * Until 930 PM HST. * At 539 PM HST, radar indicated that heavy rain has temporarily ended over Oahu. However, Kamehameha Highway is closed at the Waikane Stream due to flooding. In addition, water inundated Otake Camp which was evacuated due to water coming over the Wahiawa Reservoir spillway. Additional heavy showers will move over the island this evening. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Emergency management. IMPACT...Flooding in drainages, streams, rivers, roads, properties, and other low-lying areas. Public road closures possible in some areas.
