The island of Oahu in Honolulu County * Until 630 PM HST. * At 213 PM HST, radar indicated heavy rain over Oahu. Rain was falling at a rate of 1 to 3 inches per hour. Significant rises have been observed on area streams including Waiahole Stream, Manoa Palolo Drainage Canal, Makaha Stream, and the Kaukonahua Stream at Waialua. Water is inundating Otake Camp which is now being evacuated due to additional water coming over the spillway. HAZARD...Heavy rain producing life threatening flash flooding. SOURCE...Emergency management. IMPACT...Significant and life threatening flooding in drainages, streams, rivers, roads, properties, and other low lying areas.
