Description: 
At 137 PM HST, radar continued to indicate pockets of heavy rain moving north-northwest over eastern portions of Oahu, including downtown Honolulu and Waikiki, with rainfall rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour. Additional areas of heavy are expected to move up over the island within the next hour or so, keeping the threat of flash flooding in place, especially for the leeward urban areas. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flooding in drainages, streams, rivers, roads, properties, and other low-lying areas. Public road closures possible in some areas. Landslides are possible in steep terrain. This warning includes the entire island of Oahu.
Instruction: 
Stay away from streams, rivers, drainage ditches, and culverts, even if they are currently dry. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of drainage ditches and streams, streets, highways, properties, and other low lying spots.
