...FIRE WEATHER WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING FOR STRONG WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE SOUTH PLAINS, ROLLING PLAINS, AND THE FAR SOUTHERN TEXAS PANHANDLE... * Wind...For today, south-southwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. For Sunday, west at 15 to 20 mph during the morning, becoming northeast at 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph during the afternoon. * Humidity...For today, as low as 3 percent. For Sunday, as low as 5 percent. * Fuels...Extremely dry. * Impacts...Any fires that develop can spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is discouraged.
