...FIRE WEATHER WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING FOR BREEZY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE ENTIRE OKLAHOMA AND TEXAS PANHANDLES... The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a Red Flag Warning for breezy winds and low relative humidity, which is in effect from noon to 8 PM CDT Saturday. * WINDS...For the warning, south to southwest winds of 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. For the watch, north winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 7 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will have the potential to spread very rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. * SEVERITY...For warning, elevated to near critical. For watch, critical FUELS (ERC)...70th-89th percentile...4 (out of 5). WEATHER...For the warning elevated...1 (out of 5). For the watch near critical...2 (out of 5). FIRE ENVIRONMENT... For the warning 5 (out of 10). For the watch 6 (out of 10).
Instruction: 
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now...or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures will create favorable weather for rapid fire growth and spread. Avoid activities that promote open flames and sparks. A Fire Weather Watch means that the potential for critical fire weather conditions exists. Listen for later forecasts and possible red flag warnings.
