The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...In Missouri, Fire Weather Zones 007, 008, 015, 016, 023, 024, 031 and 038. * TIMING...From Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. * WIND... Northerly sustained winds of 15 to 20 mph with gusts around 25 mph on Friday. Southerly sustained winds of 15 to 20 mph with gusts around 25 mph on Saturday. * HUMIDITY... Lowest afternoon and evening humidity of 15 to 25 percent Friday and Saturday.
