...FIRE WEATHER WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY MORNING THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR MUCH OF EASTERN NEBRASKA AND SOUTHWEST IOWA... * AFFECTED AREA...Thurston, Boone, Madison, Stanton, Cuming, Burt, Platte, Monona, Colfax, Dodge, Washington, Butler, Saunders, Douglas, Sarpy, Harrison, Shelby, Cass, Pottawattamie, Mills, Montgomery, Fremont, and Page Counties. * TIMING...For the Red Flag Warning, from noon to 9 PM CDT Friday. For the Fire Weather Watch, from Saturday morning through Saturday evening. * WINDS...For Friday, north at 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. For Saturday, south-southwest at 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
