...FIRE WEATHER WATCH FOR GUSTY WINDS, DRY FUELS, AND LOW HUMIDITY ON SATURDAY... * AFFECTED AREA...Cherokee, York, Rabun, Anderson, Abbeville, Laurens, Union, Chester, Habersham, Stephens, Greenwood, Franklin, Hart, Elbert, Oconee Mountains, Pickens Mountains, Greenville Mountains, Greater Oconee, Greater Pickens, Central Greenville, Southern Greenville, Northern Spartanburg and Southern Spartanburg. * TIMING...8 AM Saturday morning until 11 PM Saturday night. * WINDS...Northeast 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 14 percent. * IMPACTS...With elevated winds and low relative humidities, extremely dangerous fire weather conditions are possible. Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
