...CRITICAL WILDFIRE CONDITIONS WILL BE PRESENT FOR INLAND AREAS OF SOUTHEAST GEORGIA SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING... .A combination of a dry very breezy northeast winds on Saturday will combine with critically dry fuel beds and lead to potential Red Flag Conditions. The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a Fire Weather Watch for low humidity, breezy northeasterly winds, and critically dry drought-stricken fuels. This will be in effect from Saturday morning through Saturday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...In Georgia, Coffee, Jeff Davis, Bacon, Appling and Atkinson. * TIMING... * WINDS...Northeast 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 23 percent. * TEMPERATURES...Up to 69. * IMPACTS...Existing wildfires may behave erratically during the afternoon and evening hours Saturday. Controlling new and existing wildfires will become more difficult for responding land managers and firefighters.
