...WIDESPREAD CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS PEAKING SATURDAY... All-time record March heat, exceptionally low humidity, and periods of breezy winds will continue to drive critical fire weather conditions through Saturday. Today, the highest fire danger will be localized to the Cheyenne Ridge and vicinity where winds will be strongest. Breezy winds will become expansive on Saturday coinciding with highly anomalous heat and single-digit humidity, extending into the foothills and high mountain valleys. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 214, 215 and 216. * TIMING...Saturday from 11 AM through 10 PM MDT. * WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 6 percent. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire.
