* WHAT...For the Heat Advisory, temperatures of 84 to 94 expected. For the Extreme Heat Watch, dangerously hot conditions with temperatures of 90 to 102 are possible. * WHERE...Eastern San Gabriel Mountains, Interstate 5 Corridor, San Luis Obispo County Mountains, Santa Barbara County Interior Mountains, Southern Ventura County Mountains, and Western San Gabriel Mountains and Highway 14 Corridor. * WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, from 10 AM to 8 PM PDT Monday. For the Extreme Heat Watch, from Monday evening through Friday evening. * IMPACTS...There is a high risk for dangerous heat illness for anyone, especially for the very young, the very old, those without air conditioning, and those active outdoors.
Instruction: 
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
