The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a
* Dust Storm Warning for...
West central Grant County in north central Washington...
* Until 430 PM PDT.
* At 223 PM PDT, a dust channel was 15 miles west-southwest of Moses
Lake blowing northeast across Interstate 90.
HAZARD...Near zero visibility with strong wind in excess of 50
mph.
SOURCE...Department of Transportation.
IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.
* This includes Interstate 90 in Washington between mile markers 152
and 173.
This dust channel will remain over mainly rural areas of west central
Grant County including Interstate 90 between George and Moses Lake.
Instruction:
Motorists should not drive into a dust storm. PULL ASIDE STAY ALIVE!
