Description:
At 437 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Sherman, moving
southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Litchfield and southeastern Dutchess Counties, including
the following locations... Candlewood Springs, Kinneys Corners,
Candlewood Point, Baker Corner, Woodinville, Bridgewater, River Road
Reserve, Hurd Corners, Candlewood Trails, and Wellsville.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
