At 654 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles north of Arriba, or 23 miles northeast of Limon, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Trained spotters reported. Storm chasers reported golf ball sized hail and 50 mph winds northwest of Arriba at approximately 650 PM MDT. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Arriba.
