Description:
At 642 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southwest of
Agate, or 21 miles west of Limon, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of Northeastern Elbert County.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT Monday for a
portion of east central Colorado.
