* Until 700 PM MDT.
* At 609 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Prewitt
Reservoir, or 14 miles southwest of Sterling, moving northeast at
35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Sterling, Merino, Iliff, Atwood, Logan Corners, Prewitt Reservoir,
Padroni, North Sterling Reservoir, Pawnee Pass, Willard, Reiradon
Hill and Messex.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT Monday for a
portion of northeast Colorado.
