* Until 445 PM MDT.
* At 357 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles north of
Ponderosa Park, or 24 miles southeast of Denver, moving east at 20
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Northeastern Castle Rock, Parker, Elizabeth, Kiowa, Ponderosa Park,
The Pinery and Franktown.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT Monday for
portions of east central and northeast Colorado.
