Northeastern Douglas County in northeastern Colorado... * Until 445 PM MDT. * At 357 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles north of Ponderosa Park, or 24 miles southeast of Denver, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Northeastern Castle Rock, Parker, Elizabeth, Kiowa, Ponderosa Park, The Pinery and Franktown.
