* Until 400 PM MDT.
* At 316 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Castle Pines,
or 19 miles south of Denver, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Southern Aurora, southeastern Centennial, eastern Highlands Ranch,
northern Castle Rock, Parker, Greenwood Village, Lone Tree, Castle
Pines, The Pinery, Sedalia, Louviers, Ponderosa Park and Foxfield.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT Monday for
portions of east central and northeast Colorado.
