* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Southwestern Washington County in northeastern Colorado... * WHEN...Until 545 AM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 341 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to earlier thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Plum Bush Creek, Middlemist Creek, Beaver Creek, East Fork Plumb Bush Creek, Buck Creek, Vega Creek and Sand Creek. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Woodlin School and Last Chance.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
