Description: 
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills from 10 below to 20 below zero. * WHERE...Central to southern Alaska Peninsula, including Port Heiden, Nelson Lagoon, King Cove, and Chignik. * WHEN...Until 1 PM AKDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Exposure to these temperatures could result in frostbite or hypothermia if precautions are not taken. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong and gusty northerly winds combined with bitterly cold air temperatures will maintain wind chills below zero through Thursday morning. The lowest wind chills will be during the overnight and early morning hours each day. Temperatures to increase Thursday afternoon.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
