* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 40 to 50 below expected. * WHERE...Northern Susitna Valley, Northern Copper Valley, and Tok Cutoff. * WHEN...Until 1 PM AKDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 50 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Over the next few days, expect the coldest wind chills during the late night and early morning, with temperatures warming up during the daytime.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
