Description: 
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 15 below. * WHERE...Southern Kodiak Island. * WHEN...Until 10 AM AKDT Monday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 20 minutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Cold temperatures and gusty winds of 25 to 45 mph have allowed wind chills to drop as low as 15 below zero. Snow squalls will persist across the southern Kodiak coastline and along Shelikof Strait through the night. these snow squall will reduce visibilities under one mile at times in snow and blowing snow.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
