Description: 
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 15 below. * WHERE...Kodiak Island. * WHEN...Until 4 PM AKDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 20 minutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Cold temperatures and gusty winds of 20 to 40 mph have allowed wind chills to drop below zero. The coldest wind chills of 10 to 15 below will be felt across the southern half of Kodiak Island where winds are the strongest with wind chills over the northern half of the island dropping down to 5 to 10 below zero.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
