Description:
* WHAT...For the first Frost Advisory, temperatures of 33 to 36 will
result in frost formation. Locally temperatures may drop to near
or just below freezing early this morning. For the second Frost
Advisory, temperatures of 33 to 36 will result in frost formation.
* WHERE...For early this morning, this includes areas east of
McCloud, Dorris, Tulelake, Tennant, Newell, Canby, Likely,
Alturas, Davis Creek in California and Klamath Falls, Keno,
Merrill, Chiloquin, Lakeview, Valley Falls and Silver Lake in
Oregon. For Thursday morning, this includes areas near Tulelake
and Alturas in California and Klamath Falls, Midland, Bonanza, and
Winter Rim in Oregon.
* WHEN...For the first Frost Advisory, until 8 AM PDT this morning.
For the second Frost Advisory, from 2 AM to 7 AM PDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive
outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
Instruction:
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
