Description:
* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures near 30 to 32 degrees as low as
27 possible.
* WHERE...In California, portions of the Klamath River Valley in
Western Siskiyou County. In Oregon, Eastern Curry County and
Josephine County, including the Illinois Valley.
* WHEN...For the Frost Advisory, from 3 AM to 9 AM PDT Thursday. For
the Freeze Watch, from late Thursday night through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing. Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive
outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
Instruction:
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
