Description:
* WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.
* WHERE...Anchorage, Lower Matanuska Valley, and Southern Susitna
Valley.
* WHEN...Until 9 AM AKDT this morning.
* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A band of locally dense fog has moved north
from Cook Inlet over Knik Arm and across the Anchorage Bowl,
Matanuska Valley, and southern Susitna Valley, including portions
of the Parks and Glenn Highways. The fog will likely persist
through mid-morning Friday before dissipating.
Instruction:
A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced
to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your
headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
