Public safety alert, emergency alert, and weather alert Description: The Virginia State Police and the Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse have issued an AMBER Alert on behalf of the Norfolk Police Department for a child abduction that occurred on April 30, 2026 at 0005 hours in the city of Norfolk. The child is believed to be in extreme danger and was last seen with the abductor on foot headed south on Chesapeake Boulevard in Norfolk Virginia.
