Patchy frost may develop this morning in rural sheltered valleys and low-lying areas, as temperatures fall into the mid to upper 30s with light winds, dry air, and clear skies. In those valleys along mainstem rivers, larger creeks, and lakes, fog development should preclude frost formation. Those with cold-sensitive plants outdoors in sheltered rural valleys and other low-lying areas may want to consider taking action to protect them.
