* WHAT...Kilauea is erupting lava fountains within the summit<br />
caldera. Fountaining episodes typically last less than 12 hours<br />
but ash can remain in the air longer depending on wind and weather<br />
conditions. Winds will generally variable through 22,000 ft in<br />
elevation today, causing tephra fallout to vary in location,<br />
ranging from north of Kilauea through the southwest.
* WHERE...Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and areas to the north<br />
through southwest.
