A gale force front enters the western Gulf this afternoon and quickly begins to move across Kodiak Island later this evening. Accompanying the front will be an axis of moderate rainfall, adding up to around one inch of rainfall for Kodiak City, with areas such as Old Harbor seeing up to 2 inches of rainfall.
