The National Weather Service has issued a Particularly Dangerous Situation (PDS) Red Flag Warning for Spokane County for Saturday, August 1 from 2 PM to 8 PM. Wind gusts could reach 40-50 miles per hour. This means that new fires will grow rapidly and aggressively. Be alert for new fire starts and be prepared to evacuate immediately if a wildfire breaks out. Have multiple ways to monitor instructions and receive information.
