...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM MDT TUESDAY DUE TO GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR NORTHERN CAMPBELL, SOUTHERN CAMPBELL, AND WESTON COUNTY PLAINS... .Hot, dry, and windy conditions will develop over the northeastern Wyoming plains tomorrow afternoon. Afternoon humidities will drop to 10 to 15 percent with west to southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph, gusting up to 40 mph. A few isolated showers and storms may develop over the area in the afternoon. Any storms may produce lightning along with gusty and erratic winds and be accompanied by little to no rain. The combination of the dry and windy conditions along with dry fuels will support widespread critical fire weather conditions. The National Weather Service in Rapid City SD has issued a Red Flag Warning. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 314, 315, and 317. * TIMING...From 11 AM to 8 PM MDT Tuesday. * WINDS...Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Relative Humidity between 10 to 15 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
